Just like the squirrels need to store up nuts for winter, I do the same with flower photos! One of my favorite ways to spend a cold, nasty winter day is by painting a watercolor floral when there is not a flower in sight! This spring and summer has been so busy with the murals I haven’t gotten much time to paint with my watercolors but I am ‘storing up’ for the winter that will inevitably come by taking lots of photos that will later be used as reference material for future paintings. Here’s a photo I took yesterday that I hope to make into a painting. To see my floral paintings go to http://www.suesteiner.com/thumbnail_list.php?galleryID=4129
